A handmade, traditional Mexican root brush ( Escobetilla ), which is perfect for cleaning plates or our molcajetes ( mortars ).
Held together in the middle with 3 metal bands, it is ideal for removing any dirt, no matter how stubbornly stuck. Just put some water on the dirt and start scrubbing and it will be gone.

This brush ( escobetilla , escobeta) is made from a strong root called zacatón . The escobeta was used in Mexico to avoid the use of plastic. With this brush you could wash your dishes, the kitchen (stove, comal) and even clothes!
