Corralejos Añejo is stored for 12 months in new American oak barrels that have previously been burned out from the inside, resulting in intense smoke and wood aromas in the aroma, which are complemented by fruit components. The properties of the new wooden barrels also come through in the taste and result in a particularly soft character. To underline its high quality, Corralejos Añejo is bottled in red, as this color symbolizes prosperity in Mexico.
