Quesadillas with frijoles refritos bayos

Ingredients:

  • La Costeña Frijoles refritos Bayos
  • Tortillas
  • Grated cheese (e.g. Cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • Sliced ​​spring onions
  • Sliced ​​tomatoes
  • Sliced ​​jalapeños (optional)
  • Serve with sour cream or guacamole.

Directions:

  1. Heat a tortilla in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Spread a generous amount of La Costeña Frijoles refritos Bayos on the tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the beans.
  4. Place the sliced ​​spring onions, tomatoes and jalapeños (if desired) on top of the cheese.
  5. Place another tortilla on top and press down lightly.
  6. Fry the quesadilla on both sides until golden brown, the cheese is melted and the filling is hot.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make more quesadillas.
  8. Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve them warm with sour cream or guacamole for dipping.
